"Innovations for Poverty Action Uganda hired Teamworks for a five-week consultancy with our organization. We had been growing quickly and realized that our old systems and structures were not always the most effective for our new larger size. Rosie and Ian joined the team to provide external review and suggestions about ways to improve our systems for greater efficiency, effectiveness, and staff happiness.
Teamworks did excellent work throughout the consultancy with us. Prior to arriving, they initiated discussion to understand our needs, background/history, and concerns in order to custom-tailor their work to maximize their value to our organization. Upon arrival they spent extensive time with all staff to understand the experiences of our personnel within the organization and to gather information about areas of strengths and improvements. They supported a process of building up our senior management team structure and a series of working sessions with staff to develop new strategic priorities and an action plan. This was all topped off with engaging customized training sessions that were identified as most useful for our staff, and an opportunity for individual staff members to have mentoring and feedback sessions about their professional goals and management challenges or styles.
The team of Rosie and Ian is incredibly fun, with high emotional intelligence, incredible work ethic and an overarching respect for each staff member. Teamworks understood our busy schedules and worked tirelessly to accommodate us. As a result, they helped identify solutions and organizational priorities that were meaningful and realistic for us to implement.
